BASF chemical plant threatened by gas & oil shortages

Europe is committing economic suicide all because they are doing the bidding of US Neocons by imposing ridiculous sanctions against Russia which are doing far more damage to Europe and very little to Russia. They are equivalent to threatening to shoot yourself in both feet and the head and then going ahead and doing it. It is a completely idiotic and absurd situation that Europe has arrived in. We are already seeing the initial consequences in the form of fuel price rises and inflation.

The sanctions have actually done three things. They have strengthened Russia's finances and independence, they have accelerated the destruction of the dollar and all fiat currencies connected to it and they are dealing an economc death blow to Europe's economy. By refusing Russian gas it has led to soaring prices and there is no viable alternative to replace the huge quantities of it. Gas is not just used for heating but also for generating base load electrical power. And Russian oil is used to supply a large chunk of the diesel fuel used in Europe and literally everything we buy and do, needs diesel. Diesel is the life blood of the real physical world. Any disruption there and we will all feel it very directly very quickly.

The Irish government are fully aware of the potentially dire consequences of these reckless decisions because they have made it known that they have emergency plans for fuel rationing. Unfortunately it seems the public don't fully realize the scale of the pending crisis and that it is all caused by war-mongering and the belligerent actions of US & NATO cheered on by our own clueless politicians. It is quite clear that every government and institution is captured by sinister elements and those in key positions of power and influence have either been bought off or blackmailed. This was all very evident during Covid, when we saw how governments moved in lockstep to a single script, orchestrated by the totalitarian forces in the background. The Epstein revelations gave the public an insight into the extent and depth of blackmail and how it reached the highest echelons of society.

Effects of Sanctions Begin to Kick In on European Economy

Sept 2022
Ireland: Bord Gas says gas prices to go up 39%. Similar price increases for electricity.
Businesses like small supermarkets around the country reporting electric bills tripling in price

Europe BREAKING: 40 CEOs of European metal producers have wrote an open letter to Ursula von der Leyen and the European Commission warning of an "existential threat" to industry as power prices surge.

The European metals industry has called on the EU for emergency action to prevent a collapse of the sector which faces an existential threat from surging power and gas prices. In a letter to the top EU officials, including European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen, the European metals industry association Eurometaux wrote that “the business leaders of Europe’s non-ferrous metals industry are writing together to raise the alarm about Europe’s worsening energy crisis and its existential threat to our future.” As much as 50% of the EU’s aluminum and zinc capacity has already been forced offline due to the power crisis, Eurometaux said in the letter. Significant curtailments have also been made in silicon and ferroalloys production, and further impacts felt across the copper and nickel sectors, the association added.

The world's largest steel group, ArcelorMittal, is temporarily shutting down two plants in Germany due to high energy costs . From the end of September, the group will shut down one of the two blast furnaces at the flat steel site in Bremen until further notice, the company announced on Friday. In the Hamburg long steel mill, the direct reduction plant will also be shut down from the fourth quarter due to the current situation and the negative prospects. Both plants already have short-time work, which is now being expanded. There is also short-time work at the production sites in Duisburg and Eisenhüttenstadt.

Cases / detections are rising but death barely.
No need for Level 5

The country is in the grip of Covid-19 fear. The public have been frightened using manipulative figures and by emphasis on case numbers which are meaningless. Many are very concerned and know we face economic ruin and worry about the future. Mental health issues are widespread and critical. People are only reluctantly agreeing to any of this out of fear and want the whole thing to end. The media, politicians, and the medical bureaucrats with conflicts of interest have been criminal in their actions and the Left has attempted to hijack the fear to shamelessly pretend they are protecting workers when they are simply acting as shrills for multi-national Pharmaceutical & vaccine industry and thereby pushing the agenda of the Great Reset promoted by the World Economic Forum (WEF) who are the voice of the global capitalist oligarchy. Not only that anyone with a different opinion is accused as being right-wing and racist and while indeed elements on the right are have taken an position against the official narrative, it is disingenuous and arrogant of the Left to label and shame people who are against the (ineffective) masks and restrictions as being somehow misled and anti-science when they side with Orwellian Big Tech who censor and silence real doctors and scientists trying to get their voice out to counter the official narrative. With that backdrop in mind, at the same time, we have been hearing for the last two or three weeks that cases are rising exponentially and it all seems out of control. It appears the number of deaths is rising and the media seem to be reporting the country's hospital ICU capacity is about to be over run and we are in some sort of deadly "2nd wave" which they long hoped for. The government's own figures show this is not actually the case at all and it is all smoke and mirrors.

As we speak the government is due to meet to decide whether to put the whole country in lockdown for a massive 6 weeks at Level 5 which is basically a full lockdown. NPHET have been strongly advising for this to happen for the last two or three weeks and when the government refused to put the country in lockdown a week or two ago, NPHET were furious that their minions in the government did not follow their orders. It remains to be seen whether government ministers will like bold children repent and obey NPHET orders.

In this brief report we take the government's or rather the Health Preventive Surveillance Centre, HPSC, figures to show that the impression of out of control Covid and soaring death rate is not actually happening and there is no need for heightened fear or lockdown.

These local elections on Fri 24th May are more important than ever. The reason is that up and down the country Fine Gael with help from Fianna Fail have allowed corporate vulture funds through various government breaks to them to buy up valuable tracts of land and to buy up thousands and thousands of apartments and homes. And the result is they are screwing people for rent. In this feature a case study for South Dublin of how they corporate takeover has occurred and driven prices sky high and priced out ordinary people from ever buying a house or apartment. Found out what is happening in your council area and how FG and FF councillors encourage this madness because it is happening in towns and cities all over the country.

Parties for a Left Dail

The election cycle has come around yet again it is time to take a look at some of the issues being discussed and more importantly those not discussed and have a quick look at the economy.

For this election there are more independents going up than ever before, although people should be warned that a certain fraction of them are closet FFers and FGers so if it is change you are looking for, they may not be the candidates to vote for. Sometimes people seemed to assume Independents tend to be more to the Left. There is no inherent reason this should be the case and statistically one would expect them to evenly spread to the Left and Right. So if voting for an Independent then be sure you have checked what they really stand for and their previous record if any.

The Euro and local council elections take place on Fri May 23rd and nationwide there are 11 MEPs to be elected to represent Ireland Euro elections will also be taking place across Europe for a grand total of 751 seats in the European Parliament. Regrettably the European Commission which is composed of 28 non-elected and appointed commissioners and is besieged by thousands of lobbying firms working for the private sector, is probably reckoned to have more power. Yet despite this Europe matters because at least 70% of our legislation comes from there and practically most of the regulation in a diverse range of areas originates from Europe and some of the more background regulation has its origins with corporate lobbyists with the aim of using heavy regulation to put smaller competitors out of businesses by greatly increasing the relative costs for smaller businesses. The main political parties of Fianna Fail and Fine Gael constantly tell us they are pro business and for jobs and the economy. In fact they are for big business, privatisation, outsourcing of jobs, lower wages, less social safety net and their support of big business and corporations constantly results in the suffocating of small business which are the very areas that lead to most employment.

A decade of militarisation in Europe is bearing bitter fruit. But Parliament is on track to draw exactly the wrong lesson. #CSDP report voted today in committee calls for more spending, more weapons, more #NATO.

Address by the President of the Russian Federation on Sep 21st 2022 imageFull Text in English of Putin's Speech Announcing Partial Mobilization on Sept 21st 2022 Sep 23 21:33 by 1 of Indy 0 comments

The full text of Putin's speech announcing the partial mobilization is reproduced here because the MSM and The West have gone completely bonkers and have been misrepresenting what was said. Also they are saying outright that Russia is losing and Putin's back is against the wall etc etc. The actual reality is nothing of the sort.

The Russians don't do bullshit like the politicians in the West do and are very upfront.

Therefore rather than listen to the "interpretation" made by the MSM and politicians who don't want you to read the actual speech and what he really said and the context, it makes more sense for you to read it yourself and make up your own mind.

People ought to remember that the West is openly saying they want to bring down the government of Russia and prolong the war to hurt them. The people saying this are not peace keepers and are not your friend. We are now all facing into Winter where it looks like we are going to face severe discomfort and blackouts, as well as huge energy prices and shortages. This will destroy the economy. Europe is committing suicide through these insane sanctions that only hurt Europe at the behest of the US & NATO. It is therefore prudent to see what is behind the curtain

For millions of Americans watching last week's political drama in London, the spectacle was welcome entertainment, a respite from the bitter divisions racking the United States and a reassuring reminder that other countries also endure convoluted political theater. But it was also a wistful reminder that even if the US doesn't have a monopoly on edge-of-your-seat political machinations, other democracies seem to handle theirs more successfully.
