This report describes how the idea of a German Exit or Dexit from the EU is gaining political traction in Germany because of widespread eurosceptism there. Many Germans feel they are no longer benefiting and it is instead causing them problems. The mainstream media as usual has tried to label it a far-right thing as they do with everywhere with anyone who disagrees with the mainstream narrative no matter what it is. This article is being reposted here as it is incredibly important and gives an insight into the larger framework of forces acting on the EU. From this perspective one can see how Brexit is the sabotage operation. Even though a majority voted for Brexit, clearly bigger forces wanted it and as we know the people are usually ignored. As in when in Ireland we had to vote twice on separate occasions in EU referendum before we got the right answer. The European Union enters 2019 with a mass of unresolved problems, in addition to being torn apart by the most severe contradictions… The first and main problem is that the EU was created as one of the mechanisms of the US’ control over Western Europe. Without the American Marshall Plan, without opening American markets for European goods, without American troops on the European continent, without NATO, eventually, the European Union wouldn’t be possible. ... read full story / add a comment

EU interferes with Irish electoral process by delaying important information that would have educated and informed the Irish electorate prior to casting their votes in the hope that it's preferred parties that "play ball" would do better from public ignorance of the actual results of the policies on citizens of these EU preferred parties. ... read full story / add a comment

• Number of people employed: Down by 13 per cent since January 2008. • Number of people unemployed: Up from 107,000 in January 2008 to 296,300 today. • Annualised domestic growth rate: –1.2 per cent. • Net emigration: The number of people leaving the country is higher than the number coming in by 35,000. Gross emigration was more than 80,000 last year alone. In six years it went from the highest net immigration level in Europe to the highest emigration, overtaking the Baltic states and Kosovo. Meanwhile a group of students and other young people in Dublin has launched a campaign called “We’re not leaving” after the Government sent out letters encouraging young people to seek jobs abroad. • Government deficit as a proportion of GDP: 7.3 per cent. • Public debt: 121 per cent of GDP in 2013, up from 91 per cent in 2010 and 105 per cent in 2011. • Household debt: 200 per cent of GDP. There are people living on €50 per week or less after paying their bills. We have had eight austerity budgets since 2008; in the community sector there have been cuts of 35 to 40 per cent. • Value of assets underpinning household debt: –56 per cent since the crisis began. •Mortgages in arrears for more than six months: 17 per cent of all mortgages. ... read full story / add a comment

Interesting story in the independent regarding the promissory notes. The government is so worried that they have assembled a crack team of expensive lawyers (paid for by the people) to act against the interests of the people. As reported by the financial blog The Automatic Earth written by Nicole Foss, she has reported that the German magazine Der Spiegel dropped a bombshell this morning in an article that the IMF plans to dump Greece in September. So far the Der Spiegel article is in German. Normally they will eventually publish articles in English. "Griechenland könnte schon im September pleitegehen. Der Internationale Währungsfonds hat nach Informationen des SPIEGEL der Brüsseler EU-Spitze signalisiert, dass er sich nicht an weiteren Hilfen für das Land beteiligen werde." Greece could go bankrupt as early as September.
