School children to be introduced to gambling and animal abuse. Who would have thought the school curriculum in Ireland would be introducing children to Gambling and animal abuse? The Irish Greyhound Board, the IGB, are now offering students and teachers tours of Greyhound stadia around the country. These same racing tracks allow children to bet their pocket money as no age limit applies to anyone placing bets. At the household charges meeting on the 24th March Socialist Democracy distributed leaflets advertising a meeting on the Greek crisis in Dublin at 7-00 on Thursday 5th. Our sympathies lie with the animals who are imprisoned in circuses for entertainment.
