We Need To Be the Change that we want, we can complain all day long but that will achieve nothing, we need to take direct action against these bullies, these criminals, if we are too scared to do it for ourselves then we should do it for our children, any parent worth their salt would do whatever it takes to protect their child and that is exactly how we need to see this situation, what are we doing to protect our kids from what is being taken from them now and what will be increasingly taken from them as they grow up? ... read full story / add a comment

It would appear that new rules and regulations introduced by government are designed for the purpose of securing revenue for the state rather that resolve problems of law and order. Take for example RSA who-ha, who-ha that gets great press, lots of photo shots and then nothing. Within a short period of time all is forgotton and what was supposed to make a difference (regulations regarding learner drivers, taxi drivers ect, ect) is swept aside and left on the shelf to gather dust. And this applies right across all sections of Irish society where the band plays, colour lights flash in all their splendour, as suited gentlemen take the bows and then move on to more public eye catching events leaving everything as it was in the first place. ... read full story / add a comment

Seeing 'Bloody Sunday' on UTV last night reminds us of one of the worst Crimes of The Troubles when 13 Civilians were killed and 14 injured by the British Army in Derry on January 30th, 1972. No British Officer or Soldier was ever charged over Bloody Sunday. 40 years on the fight for justice goes on. Bloody Sunday not forgotten. I'm shocked but not surprised to see yet another stealth tax by the Government this time on 115000 Pensioners who have their own as well as the State Pension. Many of them are now going to be up to €4400 per year for a single person or €8800 per year for a couple worse off because they'll now be paying tax on their Pensions which they worked hard for all their lives. Why don't the Revenue Commissioners go after all the big tax evaders instead of vulnerable and soft targets like the Pensioners? An issue that dwarfs in death and suffering the murders of 911 that you will not hear politicians debating or newspapers or news broadcasts covering is that one human being is dying every nine second from starvation in the world as it is presently spiritually, politically and economically organized. The tunnel boring machine(TBM) planned to tunnel under Sruwadducon Bay has been named ‘Fionnuala’ after one of the children of Lir. The 4 children of Lir were turned into swans for 900 years by their jealous step-mother. They spent the last 300 years in the seas off North Mayo. ‘Fionnuala the TBM’ is 140 m long and weighs almost 500 tonnes. It is painted with the Mayo colours and is to be transported to Erris for early next summer. Shell plan to bore a 4.5 m diameter, 4.9 km tunnel up Sruwadducon bay. Ports up and down the West Coast were blockaded, from Seattle to San Diego. The blockade was called in solidarity with longshore workers fighting a union-busting assault in Longview, Washington and port truckers seeking union recognition in the ports of Los Angeles/Long Beach. This support should have been greeted. But now the class war on the West Coast docks is coming to a head, and it can't be waged from the outside. Bay Area labor has called for a caravan to Longview. The goal should be a real occupation of the terminal by the workers to prevent the loading of the scab cargo. Longshore militants have called on the longshore unions to shut down every port on the West Coast, and the East and Gulf Coasts, to smash EGT's union-busting. Can it be done? The writer of a letter to the Irish Times was surprised when it was published on the 22nd. inst. it was in response to an earlier letter written by a Ms. O'Dwyer expounding the virtue of German efficiency. His letter is reproduced in the full content below. It was expected that there would have been a vigorous response to it, instead no response was published, however two days later, two letters were published in regard to Ms. O'Dwyer original letter. The peculiar aspect to these letters was that they were published under a different heading to the first two letters. I have never seen that happen before despite being a reader of the IT for over twenty years. The writer of the letter is concerned that powerful forces influenced the Irish Times to kill the topic, that is that Germany is involved in a conspiracy so as to bring about a federal Europe through economic manipulation of the economies of the peripheral states of Europe. Shell Claus the black pariah of the Claus family is out to take rather than to give. Santa's younger brother has often been compared to Lucifer the dark angel. Rather than give presents, Shell Claus comes to take away what you have and destroy it.
His betrayal of the spirit of thanksgiving often brings Santa to tears.
In Ireland, Shell Claws has come to visit all the houses in the Erris area, offering false gifts to seduce people, but then afterwards betraying even those who give him their trust.

The response to the legislation on household tax has been very encouraging. A poll taken on Sunday by Newstalk after the launch of the campaign opposing the tax, showed over 70% indicated opposition and a determination not to pay. This is a great start to what will be one of the dominant campaigns in 2012. There will be a consistent and vicious propaganda campaign by the establishment which has already begun.
