Today, for a brief moment, America knows how awful it feels to live in one of the states they have invaded or that they have helped reduce to sectarian nightmares with imported jihadist mercenaries, CIA advisors, funds and weaponry, such as Iraq, Syria or Libya, where explosions like this occur every other day

I know various parts of Britain are hosting gatherings to remember the dark legacy of Maggies reign but I think that in Dublin we should all come together tonight on O Connell Street to collectively remember all effected by the woman, particularly the hunger strikers, shoot to kill victims, Argentines, miners the list goes on. SO just throwing it out there and open to suggestions but this occassion should not pass with out challenging the message that Thatcher represented. The AP has revised its stylebook to no longer include the term Islamist. They explain why: "Islamist” is frequently used as a label for conservative Islamic political movements, particularly Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood . It generally carries a negative connotation" Has the AP thought that maybe it carries a negative connotation because fascistic movements – religious or otherwise – generally do? The disgusting Council on American-Islamic Relations which has previously lobbied AP to drop the term because they say it ”has become shorthand for ‘Muslims we don’t like’” and “is currently used in an almost exclusively pejorative context” is elated: We believe this revision is a step in the right direction and will result in fewer negative generalizations in coverage of issues related to Islam and Muslims." ... read full story / add a comment

The enthusiasm of people at a recent business offer presentation in the Dublin hotel was contagious. The queues for foreign jobs at a job fare was the opposite. A constant contagion of exploitation of those in need is evident in offers for opportunities offered. Job offers implied following training, the costs invested and the disappointment following discovering it to be not quite accurate have lead to increases in suffering and stress. The political agenda regarding foreign policy,is to continue to spend American resources on what is still far too much for Israel’s objectives (such as war with Syria and Iran), ; as these goings-on continue to motivate more dismantlement of American Constitutional liberties here at home (in order to get away with their forms of betrayal (treason) to our founding fathers’ American Creed (which is not protecting the Holy Land) and to true interests of the American peoples. We are living in a society where the combination of fractional-reserve banking (lending out multiples of deposits) helped along by quantitative easing (printing almost unlimited quantities of money) based on fiat currencies (money without intrinsic value) has created exponential growth for the world’s financial elites.
