This year the IPSC Sponsored Hill Walk will take place on Sunday 11th October 2015. This year we will be trekking along the Coast Road from Dún Laoghaire to Dalkey, via the Dalkey Quarry. We will be setting off from the seaside side of the Peoples’ Park in Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin at 1pm and finishing up with a meal and some liquid sustenance in Dalkey. The walk will take us along Dubli’s stunning south coast, and up to the former Quarry at Dalkey. In total, the walk is about 10 kilometers. read full story / add a comment

Shell have recently applied for permission to operate their raw gas pipeline linking the Corrib gas field to the Bellanaboy refinery and are asking the Dept of Energy and Minister Alex White for “prompt processing” of its application. We have until the 25th of September to put in objections. Don’t reward Shell abuses in Ireland! We, the undersigned demand that you reject Shell's request to operate their dangerous raw gas pipeline that will be used to plunder Ireland’s resources. read full story / add a comment |
