Join us on Sat 3rd Oct at the rally at the Customs House, Dublin to protest against Oppressive Government Restrictions and Mandates and reject the new abnormal. Governments everywhere have made a grab for total power and are imposing Orwellian conditions over us since this Covid thing started last March. Governments are not in the habit of giving up power and must be challenged. Most people are just going along with the rules thinking that somehow it is all going to be lifted. It is not. It will only be lifted if the public show they don't accept them. It is time to stop sitting on the fence and getting up to make a difference. read full story / add a comment

This report from rt.com written by George Galloway should not go unnoticed because upon the death of a leading commander of the Khmer Rouge responsible for the genocidal slaughter in Cambodia during the 1970s, he highlights the little known role of the UK and US governments in their support of these people.

The demise of ‘Comrade Duch’, the Khmer Rouge mass murderer and torturer in a Cambodian hospital at the age of 77, was a peaceful end not given to the thousands of his victims back in the days of Year Zero.

The ‘Comrade’, Kaing Guek Eav, was chief jailer at the dastardly Phnom Penh prison Tuol Sleng and personally oversaw the torture and murder of men and women in uncountable numbers.

Well over 10,000 people have attend a rally in Trafalgar Square, London around midday today (Sat 29th Aug) to ‘Unite for Freedom’ and ‘Take off the mask!’ and to demand a ‘back to normal now’

As of 9pm the BBC still had not reported on it. The march began in Trafalgar Square and marched to the Houses of Parliament to show opposition to the ongoing shutdowns and unnecessary restrictions

There were also large protests going on at the same time in Berlin where over 18,000 attended but it is very difficult to find anything other than derisory coverage from the mainstream media.

It seems these days that only a few sites are reporting real news. The mainstream and state media are simply parroting propaganda, spreading fear, telling lies and manipulating facts. The media and those they represent claim they are doing science. They are NOT. And unfortunately they are discrediting it as are sections of the medical establishment which is beholden to big pharma and power.

The VaccineImpact website continues to release blockbuster news day after day and today we republish two important stories relating to the criminal Dr Fauci who is very much presented as the star by the mainstream media and refuse to reveal the dark sinister side of this truly evil man. read full story / add a comment

Breaking News. Not reported by mainstream media or RTE. The Berlin rally against Covid-19 restrictions on Aug 1st had 1.3 million people turn up !!!! -How come we never heard about this? At the rally for 29th Aug, there are 2 million expected
This is a report back from Health Freedom Ireland (HFI) on the protest organised by HFI in conjunction with the Yellow Vests at the Customs House Dublin on Aug 22nd. Given Covid is about the only thing in the news these days and happens to be the single most important issue of our time because of the way civil liberties have been taken away from the bulk of humanity, it is therefore prudent we give it the proper coverage and not the biased negative spin from the mainstream media.

Large numbers (estimated at around 6k) turned up for the peaceful protest against oppressive government restrictions and mandates over COVID-19 on Saturday, August 22nd at Customs House, Dublin.

The non-political event was organised by Health Freedom Ireland and Yellow Vest Ireland to voice concerns regarding government mandates, demanding transparency, proportionality of decisions and accountability by government officials and advisors. read full story / add a comment

Van Morrison and Andrew Lloyd Webber have enough and has launched the Save Live Music Campaign and have released this message

As you know, we are doing socially distanced gigs at Newcastle Upon Tyne’s Gosforth Park, Electric Ballroom and The London Palladium. This is not a sign of compliance or acceptance of the current state of affairs, this is to get my band up and running and out of the doldrums. This is also not the answer going forward. We need to be playing to full capacity audiences going forward.

I call on my fellow singers, musicians, writers, producers, promoters and others in the industry to fight with me on this.

Come forward, stand up, fight the pseudo-science and speak up. read full story / add a comment

After starving out who knows how many people with lockdowns India was forced to scrap them and the outcome was…anything but Judgement Day. Having proven that lockdowns were unsustainable India then went on to prove that they were put up in response to what amounts to less than a flu. With 2.7 million detected infections and just 53,000 deaths that makes for a lowly, flu-like CFR (case fatality rate) of 0.2%. But of course, the true number of infections is at least several times higher and the infection correspondingly less lethal. In a young population, this is a pathogen less deadly than the flu by almost an order of magnitude. read full story / add a comment

There are reports that a huge blast rocked Beirut today (Tues) with videos online showing a massive blast. It is reported that over 70 people have been killed with hundreds injured. Streets in surrounding areas have been destroyed and the blast was so powerful cars quite far back from the blast were flipped over.

The initial reports are suggesting the explosion occurred at a warehouse where dangerous chemicals and fireworks were stored but this could easily be a strategy to set the narrative. Given the scale of the blast one would have to wonder are fireworks really that popular and besides the main explosion indicates something far more massive.

In the last year Lebanon has undergone a huge financial crisis and the country has been plunged into poverty and the value of the currency has plumented with the result of a huge surge in unemployment and poverty. The country is completely broke. Thus the recent political development have to be therefore linked to today's explosion in some way.

Satire on Romantic Suicide (1839) by Leonardo Alenza y Nieto (1807–1845)

“We are slipping back from the age of reason into the mire of mystery, into a world of gods and devils, ghouls and angels. The difference this time is that we have chosen ignorance over knowledge, vapidity over insight, folly over realism. Consequently, we only have ourselves to blame when the rich and powerful take advantage of us.” – Andrew Davenport

Introduction

Why do we need to talk about Romanticism? What is Romanticism? And how does it affect us in the 21st century? The fact is that we are so immersed in Romanticism now that we cannot see the proverbial wood for the haunted-looking trees. Romanticism has so saturated our culture that we need to stand back and remind ourselves what it is, and examine how it has seeped into our thinking processes to the extent that we are not even aware of its presence anymore. Or why this is a problem. The Romanticist influence of intense emotion makes up a large part of modern culture, for example, in much pop music, cinema, TV and literature, e.g. genres such as Superheroes, Fantasy, Horror, Magical realism, Saga, Westerns. I will look at the origins of Romanticism, and its negative influence on culture and politics. I will show how Enlightenment ideas originally emerged in opposition to an absolute monarchy and the fixed dogmas of the Church and led to the formation of a working class ideology and culture of resistance. read full story / add a comment

The murder of Floyd is not a once-off incident. Last year 1,099 people were killed by the US police, of which a sizeable proportion are black. 99% of these murders remain in absolute impunity –an alarming impunity rate only rivalled by the likes of Colombia in the continent, which goes to demonstrate how police violence, far from an anomaly, is condoned by the US establishment. "Symbols are what unite and divide people. Symbols give us our identity, our self-image,our way of explaining ourselves to others. Symbols in turn determine the kinds of stories we tell; and the stories we tell determine the kind of history we make and remake."
Mary Robinson, Inauguration speech as President of Ireland, December 3, 1990

Introduction

On the night of the 8 March 1966 a massive explosion was heard in the centre of Dublin and Nelson's Pillar came crashing to the ground in hundreds of tons of rubble. No one was hurt and a stump was all that could be seen of the 157 year old monument. It was not the first time that monuments had been attacked in Ireland and certainly not the last, at least figuratively, with a series of later monuments accruing many derogatory nicknames from the Dublin people.

The recent spate of attacks on monuments in the US and the Uk has opened up the debate on the cultural issues they provoke, ranging from those who can't believe the attacks hadn't happened sooner to those who see their destruction as mob vandalism.
