Labour plans to shoehorn climate alarmism into every subject on the school syllabus. This indoctrination in dubious official 'science' is grimly reminiscent of the Soviet Union, says Steven Tucker.

Radical Routes begin an all-island speaking tour at the end of this month to people to set up their own co-ops. They are presenting this as a way out of both the precarious rental market and the trap of long-term mortgage debt.

The tour will draw on their experience where the Radical Routes network has over 35 member co-ops. They say that "While the legal and financial structures relevant to setting up a co-op are different in the UK and Ireland, the experience learned from establishing these projects in the UK is valuable to anyone in Ireland considering setting up a co-operative and taking control of their own housing situation."

I have to ask: does the Catholic Church have a death wish?

Hare coursing is a horribly cruel “sport” that is a crime in many jurisdictions. It’s bad enough that the Irish government allows it…but this week pictures circulating on social media (twitter and facebook) clearly show a Catholic Priest officially BLESSING a hare coursing venue. read full story / add a comment

The Irish government is charging for public water as part of its TISA signup. This is just the start, we will all pay for all water if they have their way, even if we don't get any services from Irish Water. The eventual plan will be to privatize all resources so that absolutely nothing will be free in this country. read full story / add a comment

Resistance to Irish Water has taken in hold in many estates that have been protesting.

There is a massive national demonstration on October 11th at 2pm, stating at the Garden of Remembrance in Dublin.

We, in common with all animal welfare/rights/rescue organisations and conservationist groups in Ireland are appalled that another hare coursing season has just been allowed to commence, with public hare-baiting sessions already having being staged at Liscannor in County Clare and Kilflynn in County Kerry.

Location of massive incinerator. Well placed for poisoning the people of Dublin

Pressure is to be put on politicians - if this incinerator is not stopped they will lose votes (next year or early 2016 is a general election)
We need to highlight and get people of Dublin involved - this is a Dublin incinerator that will affect whole of Dublin and Ireland.

The Minister for Environment Alan Kelly can stop this incinerator if he gives the power back to Dublin City Councillors to make decisions about waste management.

We are asking people to join in our protest on Wednesday 22nd October - meeting at Ringsend church at 5pm and marching to the Dail. Stop the Poolbeg/Dublin Incinerator! (Meet us at the Dail from 6-8pm) read full story / add a comment
