Unfortunately this should have been posted earlier

The reputation of British justice now rests on the shoulders of the High Court in the life or death case of Julian Assange.

The appeal hearing at the High Court which will decide Julian Assange’s immediate fate has been set for Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th October. This is a watershed moment in the most important press freedom case of the 21st century. If the appeal court upholds the decision to refuse extradition to the US made by Westminster Magistrates Court last January it will make it very difficult for the US to continue to seek extradition…

national / indymedia ireland / news report Wednesday October 27, 2021 23:22 by 1 of Indy

Indymedia Ireland was 20 years old this month, on Oct 10th in fact. It has been a long road to here and at times debateable whether it would survive in the latter years. This short article gives a quick overview of its history and where it is now.

Back in 2001 the big anti-globalisation demonstrations of Seattle 1999 were still fresh in people's minds when the first Indymedia centers were setup and the network was still rapidly growing. In Ireland back then there was a great need for an alternative voice and there was no central site that could been considered Left leaning.

Review of James Bond No Time To Die film

The latest Bond flick No Time To Die was certainly a rollercoaster ride of exciting action scenes and great special effects, yet contained more than a quantum of longueurs.

With a running time of 163 minutes it certainly tries the patience and the bladders of its audiences (who I saw popping out of the cinema throughout the film).

Personally, I think 90 minutes is enough for any film, especially since the disappearance of the intermission and ice-cream selling of yore.

In this case, the increased length seems to have been to incorporate backstories of some of the individuals involved.

The effect of this is to attenuate Bond’s appearances in the film, while adding very little to the story (hence the longueurs).

One effect of this narrative style is to put more emphasis on the story of Bond and less on the usual geopolitics and action we associate with Bond films. read full story / add a comment

Breaking news. share on all platforms: FDA document admits “Covid” PCR test was developed without isolated samples for test calibration, effectively admitting it’s testing something else.

A document just released by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) openly admits that the infamous PCR test for the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) was developed not with actual samples, but rather with what appears to be genetic material from a common cold virus.

It's claimed it disappeared due to stringent public health guidelines which strangely didn't quash c0v!d. The usage of the term ‘woke’ has spread rapidly in the last ten years from meaning awareness of racial prejudice and discrimination to describing the identity politics of various ethnic groups in the USA. The term has a long history reaching back to the 1930s when Black American folk singer-songwriter Huddie Ledbetter, a.k.a. Lead Belly finished a song advising people with the words to ‘best stay woke, keep their eyes open.’

The history of ethnic- or identity- based politics has long been a long one in the United States going back to the ethnocultural (ethnic, religious and racial identity) politics of the 19th century. Identity- based politics resurfaced in the 1960s with the Black Panther Party (BPP) (originally the Black Panther Party for Self-Defense), a Black Power political organization founded by college students Bobby Seale and Huey P. Newton in 1966. In the 1970s, identity politics were seen with the Black feminist socialist group, Combahee River Collective, and spread with the LGBT movements of the 1980s. Today ‘wokism’ is associated with identity-based groups such as Black Lives Matter (BLM). read full story / add a comment

Kieran Morrissey an Irish engineer who has worked for over 22 years in a major Irish teaching hospital has released a very important video and written the article reproduced here. In summary he says the widespread adverse effects now being seen caused by the Covid Jabs which involves mainly blood clots and associated problems like strokes and heart attacks and heart failure have symptoms very similar to what the Marburg virus can cause. Already forces are at work in the media to claim a Marburg pandemic is on the way. By sheer chance they have a vaccine even more deadly. The vaccine injuries which are growing massively by the week and will really take off when people take the boosters will be used to create the new scare and force a new round of vaccinations for Marburg which will cause even more death. It is important for people to break the cycle of taking deadly vaccines and understand what is planned. read full story / add a comment

On (28th of Sept) Ireland was hailed as the best in the world for “Covid turnaround” (1). Yet, compared to this time last year there has been a significant increase in cases, ICU & hospital admissions (2). Since we began creating this video a few days ago, the 2021 figures quoted cases have risen and it won’t stop there; it’s simply not possible as we have already seen these case numbers prior to Winter, so what really lies ahead? Why are countries with the highest vaccination rates reporting the highest case figures? (3). Has the “successful” rollout created a bigger problem? (4). Why are we STILL being lied to? Why when you die with Covid you die OF it, but when you die post vaccine, it has nothing to do with the vaccine? Can we trust those advising us to take the shot…and give it to our kids? Have they any conflicts of interest or a questionable past? What is really happening in our nursing homes? (5*) In the coming months & years the truth will emerge. read full story / add a comment

Letter from a serving member of the state of Victoria Police in Australia

Hi Tommy.

I am a current serving member of Victoria Police in Australia. I am embarrassed by my organizations approach to policing this so called pandemic. Just thought Id reach out to you and let you know that there are many among us that dont agree with this approach and are willing to put our careers on the line to speak out against it.

I am one of those and I hope that by me speaking out it may encourage others to do the same.

Following is the body of an email I sent to Victoria Police Management, yesterday, prior to todays protest in Melbourne.

It may cost me my Career but its a small price to pay in the pursuit of liberty and an end to this current dictatorship we are living under.

Keep up the good work.
