EU Biomass Case Denied Access to The Courts Applicants considering appeal to end burning forest wood as renewable and carbon neutral In March 2019 applicants from six countries including the USA brought a claim stating that the EU’s 2018 Renewable Energy Directive (RED II) will devastate forests and increase greenhouse gas emissions by promoting burning forest wood as renewable and carbon neutral. There were so many the police gave up trying to impose it. Even some pubs here and there opened up and people sat out enjoying the sun and having a pint. All the pubs should open rather than commit economic suicide and they should ask their customers to defend them. Up to that point the UK government message was Stay At Home. Today when many people returned to work it is reckoned the numbers up back to the near 70% to 80% of normal. Some of the London tubes were packed and nobody dropped dead as a result. This morning media figures including many celebrity figures were stunned and wondered what was going on while many who had stuck rigidly to the rules realized they have been fooled and lied to in the past 6 to 8 weeks. read full story / add a comment
