What's the difference between scepticism and cynicism? Cynicism is especially necessary for assessing politics, says Prof James Alexander, as it sits below scepticism, making us question the motives of those who rule us.

This important breaking news will most likely be completely ignored by the Irish Government because they are in a power grab like all the other Covid lockdown countries and facts are of no relevance to them. The story is by a real journalist -Peter Andrews who is an Irish science journalist and writer based in London and is from www.rt.com

A peer review of the paper on which most Covid testing is based has comprehensively debunked the science behind it, finding major flaws. They conclude it’s utterly unsuitable as a means for diagnosis – and the fall-out is immense.

Last week, I reported on a landmark ruling from Portugal, where a court had ruled against a governmental health authority that had illegally confined four people to a hotel this summer. They had done so because one of the people had tested positive for Covid in a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test – but the court had found the test fundamentally flawed and basically inadmissible. ... read full story / add a comment

The Healthy Debate series is now on Episode 3. It is brought to you by the Irish Inquiry who are helping to facilitate a debate about Covid-19 and all related aspects that should be happening on RTE and other main stream outlets but is not.

Episode 1 and 2 have already been widely viewed and very successful. In this episode the discussions turns to the effect of lockdown on Irish businesses. This has huge ramifications for the wider Irish society and economy given that most jobs are in the smaller business sector and many of these are of course Irish businesses. We are looking at a massive wave of closures and businesses going bust and this is already leading to masses of people unemployed. The market share of many of these firms is disappearing upwards towards the global corporations who are doing extremely well in these times as people are switching to shopping online for all sorts of things. ... read full story / add a comment

The summer of 2020 has witnessed the phased mandating of face coverings for all UK citizens (sick or healthy) in some community settings. In England, masks became compulsory on public transport (from 15th June), in shops and supermarkets (from 24th July) and in communal spaces for schools located within local lockdown areas, for Year-7 pupils and older, (announced on 25th August for a September implementation). This creeping coercion has resulted in widespread compliance, face coverings becoming the most blatant sign that life has changed since the advent of coronavirus. ... read full story / add a comment

In 1912 James Connolly proposed the motion to form a political wing of the Labour movement at the Irish Transport and General Workers Union annual conference. Two years before this he had stated his firm belief that the Irish free themselves when they realise ‘the truth that the capitalist system is the most foreign thing in Ireland.’ Every time Labour has entered government with a civil war party, they have both compromised and neglected these ideals.

Most Western elites are telegraphing the message that we will be forced to cover our humanity with cheap face masks indefinitely. They are mandating that even two-year-olds must wear masks. The long-term effects on the lungs, emotional and behavioral problems, and development of infants and toddlers is enormous. For such an unconstitutional invasion of personal liberty, they are responsible to show us some amazing degree of effectiveness of this cultish ritual. In fact, the data show the opposite. ... read full story / add a comment

international / health / disability issues Friday November 20, 2020 - 22:11 by 1 of indy   image 1 image

A Portuguese appeals court has ruled that PCR tests are unreliable and that it is unlawful to quarantine people based solely on a PCR test.

The court stated, the test’s reliability depends on the number of cycles used and the viral load present. Citing Jaafar et al. 2020, the court concludes that:

if someone is tested by PCR as positive when a threshold of 35 cycles or higher is used (as is the rule in most laboratories in Europe and the US), the probability that said person is infected is less than 3%, and the probability that said result is a false positive is 97%.

The court further notes that the cycle threshold used for the PCR tests currently being made in Portugal is unknown.

The threshold cycles used in PCR tests in India is between 37 and 40, which makes the reliability of the PCR test less than 3% and the false positive rate as high as 97%.

It was announced on Monday by BillBoard the music industry website that Ticket Master is rolling out a system whereby you will have to prove you were vaccinated before you could go to any concert organised by them. Ticket Master control probably close to 60% of all concert sales in the USA and Europe.

In other news it was announced something similar would be rolled out for attending Premier League football matches. What we see here is the full rollout of the Global Totalitarian Police State. In a very short span of time this will apply to everything from staying in Hotels, using AirBnB, travelling by plane, train, ship and bus. In fact it will be everywhere. It amounts to complete and utter control of each person.

These vaccine certificates will be digital which means they are a way of tracking each person. You might think well sure, I will just take the vaccine but already the media are letting it be known, that the vaccine will wear off and you will have to get regular boosters. You will also be tested regularly.

None of this is in anyone's interest. The question is why are they so desperate to do this? It is certainly about the opportunity to make billions, but it is more than that. Once you submit to total control like this, you are a prisoner no matter what they tell you. And who knows what on Earth they will be jabbing in your arm. One day in the far future, it could contain something to sterilize you or perhaps give you chronic illness. You will never know. ... read full story / add a comment

More than 20,000 people demonstrated Saturday in eastern Germany against government-imposed restrictions meant to slow the spread of the coronavirus after a court rejected the city of Leipzig’s attempt to move the protest away from a central square, police said.

By the city’s calculations, only 5,000 people could gather in Augustusplatz plaza and keep 1.5 meters (5 feet) away from one another. With protest organizers saying they expected at least 16,000 participants, administrators had sought to have the demonstration moved to a larger location outside the city’s center.

As thousands of people in the UK this past weekend protested new COVID lockdowns, the British Army is planning on rolling out a massive new COVID testing initiative in the city of Liverpool this week, seeking to test a half million people in a program that will be rolled out to the entire nation if successful.

As part of that initiative, a letter was sent out to the parents of children attending Broadgreen International School, letting them know that their child would be tested by the military even without their consent. ... read full story / add a comment

Hundreds have defied a ban on rallies in Britain as they protested against the lockdown in Liverpool and scuffled with police. Two people were arrested and three were fined for breaching Covid-19 restrictions.

Between 300 and 400 people took part in a march denouncing the latest Covid-19 lockdown, according to police. The protesters did not wear masks and openly ignored social distancing rules.

UPDATE: The motion was passed despite opposition. See responses below. We believe it is important to keep emailing. Make sure they understand this is serious. The ICCL had to lobby to get a sunset clause added to the first version of this Act. There is no provision that prevents another (or indefinite) extension.

The Dáil is meeting on October 22nd 2020 to pass a motion on the extension of the above mentioned emergency measures until June 9th 2021. They are also voting for more power to enforce these measures through fines and with the help of Garda Síochána.

Many of us are concerned about the proposed extension of extraordinary powers given to the State during the Covid-19 pandemic under the Health (Preservation and Protection and other Emergency Measures in the Public Interest) Act 2020 and would like to message our TDs about these concerns.

Unfortunately this article should have been published on Oct 20th ... read full story / add a comment

Tens of thousands, and perhaps now even hundreds of thousands of doctors, nurses, and many other medical professionals worldwide are taking action to combat the misinformation being propagated by governments and government-controlled media that continue to publish false propaganda regarding COVID.

The vast majority of medical professionals worldwide now seem to agree that the COVID “pandemic” and the government actions still being implemented in response to COVID are causing much more harm than COVID itself.

Almost all of these doctors and medical professionals now seem to agree that COVID is no worse than a typical flu season, and the main test being used to supposedly test for COVID, the PCR Test, is not reliable. ... read full story / add a comment

Today across the country all the major food retailers like Lidl, Aldi and Tesco have been banned from selling middle isle "non-essential" but really are essential items like clothes, toys, homeware and other items and there has been widespread anger. This is being co-ordinated across Europe as only last week the same thing happened in Wales, UK and other countries where co-ordinated lockdowns and curfews are being put in place. Same types of bans are widespread not only across Europe but the USA.
