Foreign Secretary David Lammy set out "the future of the U.K.'s foreign policy" this week. It's an abysmal vision, says Dr. David McGrogan, but it gives hope that the edifice of 'progressive realism' will soon collapse.

Who`s Streets! IMF`s Sreets!

Anti-IMF Sky News hijack Dublin 18/11/2010

Sky news journalists assault Anti-IMF woman .

They seemed confident in the fact that there would be no repercussions for their behaviour.

Obviously they have been spending too much time at the Dáil.

This video clearly shows a woman being assaulted, by two men, professional reporters for Sky News . Unbelievable.
She later requests an apology which is not forthcoming the perpetrator lying by denying he assaulted her. Are the corporate media that arrogant they expect us to accept as true their every utterance?

Shocking that these professionals "objective" reports are what many depend on .Talk about corporate media silencing dissent.

There is no competence in Fianna Fáil ,Fianna Gale or The Greens as is painfully obvious. Yes we must "share the pain" but not complain.
I am sure this woman is far from stupid and more aware of the current crisis than some who would post here .
She is brave woman to continue on after assault and remained dignified throughout.
Bravo

They should have been charged with assault, this is yet another example of trying to stamp out free speech and the right to protest. Well done to the protester who wouldnt be subdued, she got her message across superbly. These are the heroes and heroines this country needs. Support!

There is something called "street etiquette", an unwritten code protecting reporters, newscasters, street artists and similar from being interfered with by others. Our quarrel is not with SkyNews, but with the IMF and our elected representatives in Leinster House. So why is this lady harassing journalists? Not a good move.

There should be an ‘etiquette’ that people should not die because they don’t have the money to ‘buy’ health care. There should be an ‘etiquette’ that people who bought houses at the height of the ‘boom’ should not be victims of the banks, anyway I wouldn’t worry too much about establishment hacks, they are well paid for peddling the official line.

Well done to the person who protested, most of the people in this country could be compared to a herd of sheep.
