Israeli army probe lacks credibility

Amnesty International has demanded that the Israeli army make public the full details of the findings of its probe into some of its attacks during the 22-day Gaza military offensive. The report concluded that the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) had committed no violations and only rare mistakes, some of which may have resulted in the killing of Palestinian civilians.

Amnesty International has set out our initial reaction to the limited number of specific incidents addressed in the army’s findings.

Israel will not feel obliged to investigate anything, as usual; remember that Israel has the stated support of Obama for its ownership of Jerusalem, for one thing, and Obama isn't even going to investigate the CIA for complicity in torture: he doesn't wish to 'litigate the past,' he says quaintly, and in mangled English syntax. Israel has literally got away with murder on a regular basis; it's what they do. I wish Amnesty luck but they know as well as anyone that Israel has a contempt for Palestinian life which borders on the racist.

Amnesty have a history of coming across very weakly on these issues and more often than not striking a non-existent picture of parity between the two sides. How many times have we heard "All parties should be investigated for war crimes and both Israel and Hamas should stop firing rockets." This is unhelpful and distorted and feeds into the lie that this is a war between two armies.
However, having read the full text of the initial response from Amnesty as posted above it is true to say that they have been quite unequivocal in their rejection of the lies being foinsted by the Israeli army onto the gullible Israeli public.
Lets face it, thats who this report is for. Israelis who want a pill to ease that niggling voice in their consience regarding all the hundreds of dead children and hundreds more dea civilians.
This ridiculous report is for Israeli consumption and to hell with the sub-human Gazans and the anti-semitic rest of the world.

" Regarding the use of white phosphorus in densely populated
residential areas, the army’s assertions that “no phosphorus munitions
were used on built-up areas” and that the “pieces of felt dipped in
phosphorus… are not incendiary” could not be further from the truth.
Amnesty International researchers on the ground found hundreds of white
phosphorus-impregnated felt wedges in residential areas all over Gaza,
still smouldering weeks after they had been fired. They similarly found
dozens of artillery shells which had delivered the white phosphorus all
over Gaza. As well, there is ample photographic and TV footage of white
phosphorus artillery shells fired in airburst mode exploding over densely
populated residential areas and white phosphorus literally raining down
over these areas. "

To take an zionist approach to things I use the Old Testament metaphor of Israel as the unfaithful bride and Jesus as the saving bridegroom who came to lead Israel into a new age.

Throughout the duration of his presidential campaign Barrack Obama was hailed as a Jesus figure; a saviour of people and a man who was going to bring about change in the whole world. Mr Obama has done nothing but allude us and has successfully diverted our attention to things that will eventual work themselves out i.e the economy. One would have thought it obvious that one of the first things Obama would have done in his days has president would have been to try and re-construct American foreign policy in Palestine/Israel especially since he was inaugurated in the wake of the recent conflict.

Once again, Obama like many presidents before him, has maintained middle eastern interest for the pleasure of Zionist groups in America and what's more is that there is money to be made from Israel through the sale of weapons and military supplies to the country.

The marrying of the two is match made on earth and a vision of hell for anyone within the Palestinian compounds and those sober thinking people beyond the barrier.

Has Obama sold his soul to the devil?

Hi !
This was published in 'The Sunday Times' newspaper , 26th April 2009 -
"Defence force chiefs have for the first time explicitly admitted using white phosphorus during the three-week Gaza offensive earlier this year.
The use of phosphorus bomb's as weapons of war in civilian areas is banned under the Geneva Convention.
Israel initially denied using any phosphorus bomb's but later said they were employed to create smokescreens . The investigation revealed both mortar shells and 76mm rounds containing phosphorus had been used. "

When media attention was focussed on their actions , they denied it - now that that is not the case , they apparently feel it is safe enough to admit it .
Shame on them.

Thanks!
Sharon.

Today a mob of Israeli thugs marched to a Palestinian village. As reported in Israel Ynet.

http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3709517,00.html

- According to the current report, settlers approached the village at around 6:00 pm. IDF troops were alerted to the scene, and they demanded of the settlers to leave the area immediately after declaring it a closed military zone. -

The racist mob then opened fire on the Palestinian village with live ammunition.

- Several of the settlers refused to heed the soldiers' instructions, and opened fire towards the village – though their fire caused no injuries. The troops stopped the fire, and took four of the settlers into custody for questioning. -

Then the Israeli army opened fire and shot two Palestinians in the village.

In the statements made afterwards, an Israeli commander made a bad joke

"... anyone who attempts to create a provocation or to behave violently would be dealt with immediately by the authorities....the IDF will not tolerate riots or the illegal use of arms.."
