Jump To Comment: 1 2Is this for real 'British soldiers parading through the town on their return from Afghanistan'. If this is going ahead, when will it take place? This would be outrageous and should be condemned by all decent Irish people. I would expect great opposition to this from all anti-war organisations and nationalists and republicans. Let the British Army hold their militant parades back in their own country and get the fuck out of ours, le cúnamh Dé!
The British Imperialist Army have brought nothing but utter misery and division to this island. The British Army has robbed the Irish people of their very own Nation. Leinster House and their army would do well to remember this and take note of it, and not bring great shame on themselves by participating in British imperialist commemorations in the 26 counties.
Irish people supporting and participating in British imperialist war commemorations should all be denounced - it is a betrayal of the highest order to the ideals of those countless brave Irish people who sacrificed their lives and suffered horrendous deaths and injuries to free this island since 1169.
Fair play to Cllr McGibbon-as for RSF i expected nothing different from them. Attacking a SF member who opposes a welcoming home parade for the British Army. Who really pulls the strings in RSF?
