Israel Praises Opposition to Iran.

category international | miscellaneous | other press author Thursday February 28, 2008 14:25author by Joe Report this post to the editors

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert yesterday praised Japan’s “firm” stance on Iran as the Zionist state agreed to strengthen ties with Japan.

On his visit to Japan Olmert spoke of the, "joint dangers of Iran and North Korea, the arch-enemies of Israel and Japan.” A Japanese newspaper said Olmert would share intelligence photos supposedly showing military cooperation between the Islamic republic and the communist state.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a strong critic of Israel and its Zionist policies of genocide against the Palestinian people.

Olmert and Japanese PM Fukuda also said they supported setting up direct flights between Japan and Israel thus strengthening their mutual axis of globalised state terrorism with the United States in its 'War on Terrorism'.

The United States, acting in the interests of Israel, is attempting to have Gulf Arab allies cut trade and other ties with Iran. Iran has been mounting its own counter diplomatic offensive to boost its ties with Gulf Arab states and defeat the American initiative.

The Iranian government’s resistance to all US/British/Israeli diplomatic and propaganda attempts to destabalise it are expected to see conservative candidate’s storm home in the upcoming eighth parliamentary election since the 1979 Islamic revolution. Reformers had been growing but thanks to US backed groups inside and outside of Iran, spreading propaganda and dissent there has been a clampdown and examination of all reformers and political agitators to see if the are part of the US campaign.

In this respect the US Funding of anti-Iranian groups is backfiring on it and Israel.

Support Iran, the people of Iran and reject the US/Israeli propaganda trolls. Don't in any way support the attack or destablaisation of Iran. Allow the Iranian people to reform their own country. They can never do this as long as the US and Israel are drumming up sentiment against them and putting them in fear of being bombed. Trust the actual people of Iran.

Good to see not one critical word here about a regime that came to power by slaughtering communists and anarchists. Should i take it that we shouldn't support change in Iran or 'destabilise' the regime. Why is this posted on a left wing site? This article is right to criticise Israel but talking of a genocide of the palestinians is, i feel, perverse when Ahmedinejad has called for what amounts to a 2nd genocide of the jews (or 1st since the holocaust didn't happen according to him). Don't use the excuse that that comment was mistranslated either. He hasn't bothered to set things straight. Supporting the free trade unions, feminists, student protesters and democrats within Iran is not aiding Bush but a moral duty as far as I'm concerned.

Please reply in case i've misunderstood this piece or you feel i'm being unfair.

Thats funny Mister,

I thought they came to power by defeating the Imperialist backed puppet government of the Shah. Overcoming the CIA and the full power of western oil imperialist , their spies and agents.

Isnt that how this regime "came to power".

The Shahs Dictatorship was overthrown then the revolution was subverted by the Mullahs. Since then Iran has been ruled by despots far worse than the Shan. 500 political prisoners died under the Shahs Dictatorship, 50,000 (a conservative estimate) have died under the Mullahs Dictatorship. Dont believe me about this, check it out with Amnesty and HRW.

"Since then Iran has been ruled by despots far worse than the Shan"

This one sentence betrays you and illustrates perfectly where your sympathies lie.

The US-Israel agenda is to control the oil and gas of Central Asia and the Caspian.

President Putin has partly upscuttled this agenda, the other main opponents of the US-Israel are the Iranians and this explains the war agenda because Iran blocks access to the region.

Israel has a "special relationship" with America, via the neocons and John McCain is a chief supporter.

If McCain becomes president there may be a war
