This is a good newsletter on the water campaign. It is, though, the third or fourth such newsletters I have seen and each has a different campaign behind it. The North is very small, why are there so many campaigns. I have three different pamphlets/newsletters here, the one just published by "The Campaign Against Water Privatisation", one from the "we won't pay campaign" and one from " Communities Against the Water Tax". All three say they are:
1. Against water charges
2. Against privatisation
3 Against job losses
4. For a non-payment campaign

So why are there three different campaigns? Is this more of the old lefties unable to work together? We need a united campaign. And don't tell me that the ICTU's Coalition Against Water Charges is a uniting group - it seems to exist only to make life difficult for anyone trying to organise on the ground.
