AI is a misnomer, says Joanna Gray. It's not and will never be 'intelligent'. The fact that human 'super recognisers' are needed to spot the mistakes that AI makes at least 25% of the time should be proof enough.

Since his execution in 1916 Connolly’s ideas have been distorted by the rightwing establishment in the south who have tried to brand Connolly as one of their own. As a result of this distortion many people have ignored his ideas because he has been upheld as a nationalist hero.

Instead Connolly’s tradition is that of an internationalist and of a revolutionary socialist. He was directly involved in the workers movement not only in Ireland but also in Scotland and America.

Today Connolly has a lot to teach the anti-war movement and socialists active inside it. He was one of the first people to understand that to stop war you have to change the system fundamentally and that regime change must start at home.
