On the 29th November 2001, International Day of Solidarity With the Palestinian People, the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign was formally launched at a public meeting in Trinity College Dublin. This year will mark a decade of the IPSC and our solidarity work in Ireland. In that short decade, we have had both victories and setbacks, and we continue to campaign to help Palestinians achieve the full human, national and democratic rights that they are guaranteed under international law, but denied by Israel’s apartheid regime. Join us at 7.30pm on Tuesday 29th November 2011, in the Pearse Centre (aka Ireland Institute), 27 Pearse Street, Dublin 2 for a evening with IPSC founders and present members for an evaluation of the achievements, failures and prospects of our campaign. |
